Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of older people? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Cooinda Lodge .

The Lifestyle Coordinator at Cooinda Lodge plays a vital role within the Aged Care Team, contributing to the overall wellbeing of residents. This position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of tailored lifestyle programs—both group and individual—within the Residential Aged Care Facility.

These programs are carefully designed to promote independence, engagement, and quality of life, incorporating a range of therapeutic, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and physical activities to meet the diverse needs of residents.

If you have experience in aged and dementia care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with older people, we'd love to hear from you!

Our preferred candidate will have : Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

Has a genuine empathy and respect for older people

Has a sound knowledge and understanding of aged and dementia care, and associated standards

Has an ability to work alongside all levels of staff

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Experience working in an Aged Care Residential Facility, preferably in overseeing Leisure and Lifestyle

Experience working with volunteers

IMPORTANT : Some roles in the healthcaresector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) may be required to be provided prior to commencement.
