Logistics Coordinator

• Reporting to the NSW State Manager, your varied role will include :
• Managing transportation by ensuring all orders for goods required by customers are processed into our Transport Management System so that freight can be arranged and booked to meet lead times
• Liaising with our client and their on-site management : Customer is our No.1 priority!
• Liaising with dealerships re deliveries and transport issues / delays
• Liaison and working with the 3PL warehouse and transport providers (including our own fleet) - follow-up and resolution of issues
• Investigate and report on all significant issues impacting business performance such as late and failed deliveries, picking inaccuracies, damages, returns and customer non-conformances
• Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities and working with the NSW State Manager and our internal team to review and implement
• Serving as on-site support to 3PL warehouse with regards to packaging of goods and presentation of orders to transport carriers- Be self-motivated, with an ability to work steadily and systematically and without direct supervision to see tasks through to completion
• Have the ability to prioritize issues and be a good listener and questioner
• Have an excellent working knowledge of domestic logistics - warehousing and transportation - and how to create win-win outcomes.
• Be totally committed to Continuous Improvement and follow-through
• Have excellent client stakeholder, supplier management and communication skills
• Be results orientated with a positive attitude and a strong customer service focus.
• Have minimum 3 years' experience in warehousing and distribution environments
