Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCombining technical experience with our company paid training. Service Technicians perform onsite services; preventive maintenance, repair and calibration services for all HYTORC product lines in a timely efficient manner.Complete accurate work orders, submit billing documents and calibration certificates to service administrator.Adhere to company standard operating procedures, safety standards, ISO quality policies.Maintain HYTORC demo, hire, and loan equipment in your region.Maintain spare parts inventory and suppies to adequate levels for regional service needsMaintain schedule with respect to daily activities including ancillary assignments as directed by Service Manager.Submit required reporting to Service Manager as to schedule, tasks completed, and detailed activity reports weekly.Strive to meet goals and Key Performance Indicators as outlined by the Service Manager.Check tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintain accurate schedule and record of maintenance.Demonstrate excellent customer service by communication and interactions in a positive and professional manner.Responsible for checking in inventory received to ensure accuracy. Maintain accurate inventory records, perform required bi-annual stock take of all spare parts and equipment on van.Ability toIdentify workplace hazards / unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to correct.Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships in the course of work day.Use hand and power tools skillfully and safely.Self-motivated and driven to succeed.High level of self organisation and ability to work autonomously.Work effectively in a fast paced environment, while maintaining workloads.Certificates and LicenseRestricted Electrical license - disconnect / reconnect preferredMechanical Fitter lll trade certificate.2+ years of skilled hands-on mechanical / technical experienceValid driver's license. With clean driving record.Valid national police check or ability to gain.PreferredHydraulic / Pneumatic fitter trade certificate.Plug top certificationTest & tag certificationComputer Skills NecessaryIntermediate skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and general navigation of computer.Physical Demands / RequirementsAbility to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, reaching.Ability to routinely lift 10 to 35 kilograms without assistance.
