Farm Manager

As Farm Manager, you will be accountable for the following outcomes :

• Constant drive for quality and excellence
• Ensuring execution of the farming plan, in alignment with business objectives, including production and yield management and record keeping
• Driving improvement in farm operations, ensuring the effective use of resources, manage and install infrastructure as required including equipment purchase, maintenance and operation
• Ensuring best use of resources for profitable and sustainable future
• Managing and training employees to ensure best practice workplace health and safety standards
• Managing farm operations in line with business ethos of sustainability and environmentally friendly practice
• Owning and managing the delegated budget expectations
• Leading, coaching and developing the team to drive personal growth and successful operational outcomes
• Train / monitor operators where required to ensure tasks are done as per standard procedures
• Prepare working programmes daily / weekly / monthly to facilitate implementation of respective tasks
• Abilities and Skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and direct peers and work as a valuable team member
• Considerable experience, fundamental knowledge and skills in farm operation
• Possess the ability to think outside of the box; be able to engage members and have strong initiative and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Display a can-do attitude, and have a genuine passion, energy and enthusiasm for business growth and excellence across the farm
• Minimum Requirements
• At least 3 years experience as a Farm Manager
• At least 7 years experience in the farming industry
• Driver's License
• Quadbike and motorbike skills
• Passionate about relocating to Australia
• Aged between 28 - 40 years
• English Proficiency at expert level
