The Office of Head Joint Aviation Systems (OHJASD) is seeking a proactive, professional and skilled human resources (HR) professional to fill the role of EL 1 Divisional Workforce Manager. The Divisional Workforce Manager is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex written, administration and coordination work within an integrated civilian and military workforce. The individual is responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of strategic workforce planning, personnel management, and administrative matters. This includes providing accurate and trusted advice on individual employment matters. This is a dynamic and varied role, which involves working in close consultation with the Chief of Staff, Head Joint Aviation Systems Division and other stakeholders. It requires a strong core HR skill set, with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

JASD partners with Defence Industry to acquire and sustain helicopters, uncrewed aerial systems and aircrew training systems for the Australian Defence Force. OHJASD is responsible for supporting the Division Head and effectively managing their office to maintain Divisional operations across a broad range of areas, including Ministerial and Parliamentary communications, media coordination, capability delivery performance reporting, governance, workforce management, business management, risk and security.
