The Role

We’re seeking an experienced, people-first Sales Manager to lead our sales function with energy, clarity, and accountability. This is a big-picture role with hands-on responsibility : you’ll drive performance, support a team of dynamic account specialists, and champion the customer experience at every step.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and sit within the Profresh Leadership Team—helping shape strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing, values-driven culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the Team : Manage and mentor a growing sales team, with a focus on performance, coaching, and culture.

Drive Strategy : Set and implement sales strategies that align with our business goals—including growth, retention, and customer success.

Own the Numbers : Be accountable for revenue targets, GP performance, average basket size, and customer satisfaction.

Coach & Develop : Conduct ride-alongs, provide actionable feedback, and support a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Customer Engagement : Maintain your own portfolio of key accounts, modelling excellent service and growing loyalty.

Process & Tools : Evaluate and improve sales systems and tools (like Harmoniq), ensuring your team is equipped and efficient.

Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner with Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations to share insights and coordinate initiatives.

Onboard & Train : Oversee the hiring, induction, and training of new team members—ensuring everyone hits the ground running.

Set the Pace : Establish meeting cadence, lead success check-ins, and ensure KPIs are understood and actioned across the team.

Champion Culture : Foster a high-trust, high-performance team where wins are shared, feedback is valued, and diversity is embraced.

Who You Are

An experienced sales leader with 5+ years in team management, ideally in a B2B or high-service environment.

Commercially sharp with a strong grasp of financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.

An inspiring communicator with confidence in tough conversations and an eye for team dynamics.

Adaptable, proactive, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Experienced in using CRM and sales tech tools, ideally with background in wholesale or supply-driven industries.
