The successful applicant will be responsible for the satisfactory execution of water meter reading, maintenance and repair programs within the whole of the Inverell Shire.For more information about Inverell Shire Council and the Water Meter Reader / Repairer position, please click here to access the Position Profile.EssentialApplicants should address the following Selection Criteria : QualificationsNSW School Certificate or equivalent;NSW Class C Drivers Licence; andSafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card ('White Card').DesirableQualificationsNSW Class MR Drivers Licence;Backflow Prevention Certificate;Chainsaw Operators Certificate;Confined Spaces Certificate; andTraffic Control Work Training Card (SafeWork NSW) and / or Certification;Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 3.

Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,023.85 to $1,086.78 gross per week.
