Senior Manager, Business Development - APJ

The Role :

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development - APJ, to join our fast-growing Business Development team at Leonardo Ai for our APJ region, focusing on industries such as marketing, advertising, gaming, and other creative sectors. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of sales experience, with a strong ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities. As a key player in the BD leadership team, you will work closely with the VP of Business Development and your direct report Business Development Representative (BDR) to build and manage a pipeline, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and deliver tailored solutions to meet the needs of our clients in these creative industries.

What You’ll Do :

• Manage and mentor a BDR, providing coaching, direction, and support to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
• Spend considerable time driving new business growth for our Teams and API products by prospecting, identifying, and qualifying potential clients.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, helping close out business opportunities for the APJ region.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business challenges and positioning our AI-powered solutions effectively to address their needs.
• Conduct product demos, presentations, and discovery sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of our SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to develop and execute sales strategies and tailor approaches for different market segments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technical solutions consultants, to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our product within the market.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasted opportunities within the CRM.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute insights and feedback to help refine sales processes and strategies.
