About the role

What you would do
- Accounts payable – process supplier invoices, communicate invoices variances with branches, follow up suppliers for goods received not invoices
- Electronic Data Interchange – review and action unmatched invoice report, investigate and resolve
- Reporting – report and monitor on branch daily banking, reconciliation or process difficulties
- Purchasing - Perform branch core range purchasing, follow up purchase orders, monitor inbound and outbound transfers, manage stock levels, monitor and oversee quarantine and supplier returns, monitor activity of cyclic stocktakes
- Suppliers – develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, support supplier initiatives
- Health and Safety – ensure safe work practices

- Can learn and adapt quickly to multiple software programmes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive work ethic that can identify workflow areas that require focus to improve outcomes
- Analytical and Logistical thinking capabilities to assess stock levels, meet targets and budgets
- Ability to work independently and within team environments
- Familiar with large companies that work to policies, procedures and quality audits
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management and accounts processing. Within a trades environment would be highly regarded
