This role is not just about sales; it's a strategic business development and key account management position where you will collaborate directly with leading builders, procurement managers, construction directors, architects, and designers to deliver innovative staircase solutions.

Key Responsibilities include : Acquiring new builder clients quarterlyManaging and expanding existing residential builder accountsConducting meetings with various stakeholders, from site supervisors to executivesQuoting, negotiating, and closing contracts / projectsProviding technical advice on products like MDF, American Oak, Steel, GlassForecasting sales and analyzing margins using Oracle NetSuiteParticipating in industry events to build relationshipsUtilizing LinkedIn for networking and brand visibilityIdeal Candidate Profile : 5-7+ years in B2B sales, business development, or estimating within constructionProven success with residential buildersStrong negotiation skillsAbility to interpret building plans and provide technical guidanceProficient in ERP / CRM systems, Outlook, ExcelDeep understanding of Melbourne and regional VIC builder landscapeValid driver's license for a mobile roleBonus Points : Experience in stair, door, window, or building systemsAbility to train or coach sales teamsFamiliarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or SYSTEMologyWhy Join STAIRLOCK?
