Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 12-month Fixed-term Reservations Manager to join our team at Novotel & Ibis Sydney on Darling Harbour. As Reservations Manager, you will lead the Reservations team and play a key role in ensuring a perfect stay for each guest. You are a natural leader who thrives in a team environment, with strong organizational and time management skills and an impeccable eye for detail.
Your key duties include : Supervising, supporting, and training Reservations Team Members to ensure standards and procedures are maintained for high-quality service. Familiarizing yourself with the reservations system, rate structures, occupancy, and property features to maximize occupancy. Collaborating with the Director of Revenue and Operations teams on revenue maximization across all channels. Preparing yearly forecasts of occupancy and revenue with management. Communicating openly with the Reservations Team about booking concerns. Managing room types, rates, and allotments to optimize revenue and occupancy. Assisting in rate strategy development and implementation to meet property and company goals. Setting monthly objectives to increase occupancy and revenue. Working closely with the Sales team to ensure effective communication. Providing support to sister properties as needed. Qualifications Leadership experience in hotel reservations is highly desirable. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills, preferably in Opera Cloud. Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and results-driven approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and networking skills. Proven leadership in team development and motivation.
