You will develop and utilise a broad knowledge of our General Property product offering to handle complex tasks and support broker & customer enquiries.

You will utilise your superior communication & organisational skills as you work toward achieving sales and retention targets, while regularly interacting and facing the market.You will also be responsible for the following : Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Commercial Property insurance risks in accordance with company standards, underwriting authority, and service levelsAssess and evaluate risk exposures to determine terms, premiums, and conditionsCollaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutionsContribute to portfolio profitability through sound underwriting judgment, pricing discipline, and risk selectionParticipate in client and broker meetings to build and maintain strong business relationshipsProvide technical expertise, mentoring, and support to junior underwriters as neededMaintain compliance with local regulatory and global Zurich requirementsContribute to product development and enhancement initiatives in the Property spaceImportant to your success - let's grow togetherMultiple years of Property underwriting experience within commercial / general insuranceTertiary qualification in insurance, business, or a related discipline (ANZIIF desirable)Proven ability to analyse and assess risk across various industry sectorsStrong broker relationship management and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with insurance legislation and regulatory requirements in AustraliaBelong.
