As a Property Underwriter, QLD within our General Insurance business, you will work closely with Senior Underwriters to service new and existing business. You will develop and utilise a broad knowledge of our General Property product offering to handle complex tasks and support broker & customer enquiries. Your superior communication and organisational skills will help you achieve sales and retention targets while engaging regularly with the market.

You will also be responsible for :

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Commercial Property insurance risks according to company standards, underwriting authority, and service levels.
• Assess and evaluate risk exposures to determine appropriate terms, premiums, and conditions.
• Collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Contribute to portfolio profitability through sound underwriting judgment, pricing discipline, and risk selection.
• Participate in client and broker meetings to build and maintain strong business relationships.
• Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and support to junior underwriters as needed.
• Maintain compliance with local regulatory and Zurich global requirements.
• Contribute to product development and enhancement initiatives in the Property space.
