About the opportunity

Mercy Place Montrose is a modern facility providing residential aged care accommodation at the base of the Dandenong in small household style living.

Each area houses a maximum of 8 residents with single rooms and ensuites, private dining areas and kitchenettes.

You will be supported by our clinical nursing staff to provide all day to day care for our residents.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly clients.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support mobility and help prevent falls or injuries.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
• Encourage mental stimulation through conversation, games, or hobbies.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Promote independence while offering necessary support
