The Opportunity

The casual Event Rigger role will execute a variety of event rigging, assist the rigging team on larger / more complex rigging events and lead the rigging team on smaller events. Working mainly in a hospitality or convention / exhibition center environment, the Event Rigger role will uphold the highest level of customer service and safety.

Core Responsibilities

• Prep rigging equipment, tools and safety equipment as per event requirement ensuring equipment is in service and fit for use.
• Ensure all rigging is executed safely, complying with legislative, manufacturer and Encore requirements, and industry best practices.
• De-prep rigging equipment, tools and safety equipment ensuring equipment is packed away and stored properly, equipment is maintained and any defective equipment is out of service and reported.
