We are seeking an

  • Administration Officer
  • to join our team to assist in us delivering these objectives.

Vardir is a fast paced, multi-faceted, value driven organisation doing rewarding and important work for our clients.

We are looking for the right person with the right fit for this role.

  • This job is part-time position 15 - 22.5 office hours per week. Six Month Contract with possibility of extension
  • Location
  • Alvan Street, Mount Lawley.
  • Responsibilities
  • Manage the office area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
  • Provide office guests with a hospitable experience
  • Scheduling client meetings
  • Supervise the maintenance of office areas, equipment, and facilities
  • Interact with IT, phone and building personnel as needed
  • Prepare documents, reports, and meeting agendas as required
  • Assist with general office duties including filing, data entry, mail, accounts payable and record keeping
  • Essential skills and experience
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive and challenging public enquiries by telephone and face to face.
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to work on multiple projects / meetings simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clear information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)
  • Report writing experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to work effectively and communicate with numerous small teams.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation with initiative.

  • DESIRABLE QUALIFICIATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Current Senior First Aid Training
  • Experience with Xero Accounting software
  • Before an offer of employment can be made, Vardir requires a National Police Clearance, no older than 6 months.
