ILS Engineer

About the role

This role will contribute to developing policies, standards, and guidelines, prioritising activities, and scheduling audits on all ILS processes. Main duties will include :

• Collaborate with Product Engineering Design Teams to ensure product reliability, availability, and maintainability are prioritised in design and support systems.
• Contribute to Material System Reviews (MSRs), focusing on support system development and sparing analysis.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and enhance system reliability through Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) approaches.
• Liaise with project managers to evaluate and improve existing support systems
• Implement strategies to increase system availability, ensuring optimal operation and reduced downtime.
• Identify resources and manage their execution for projects focusing on Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Task Analysis (TA).
• Propose innovative solutions to improve system reliability and reduce operational costs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure consistent system maintainability.
• Perform risk assessments focusing on potential impacts.
• Maintain and prepare ILS plans, technical data lists, maintenance support plans, and maintenance procedures.

About You

• Graduate qualification in Logistics and / or Engineering.
• Diploma of Project Management, Quality Management or related field.
• Certified SAFe® Practitioner
• Demonstrated work experience as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer.
• Experience with the execution and maintenance of ILS plans and technical data lists.
• Proficiency in conducting Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) simulations.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems relating to system reliability, availability, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated understanding of Engineering Management Systems within an ILS context.
