- About the role
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned and as scheduled.
- Observe Infection Control Protocols and use appropriate colour coded cleaning equipment when cleaning different areas of the facilities.
- Use and store cleaning Chemicals and maintain cleaning equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Dispose wastes according to the wastes management guidelines.
- Never leave the cleaning trolley unattended.
- Alert residents / staff / visitor of wet floor by placing the warning sign near the wet area.
- About the Successful Applicant
- Essential
- Demonstrate experience in cleaning duties.
- Evidence of a good team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
- National Police Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.
- Full and up to dated COVID vaccination
- Desirable
- Experience in cleaning in residential aged care facilities.
- Able to communicate in Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Obtained or attending Cert III in Individual Support.
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.
