You will teach into undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programs, support curriculum innovation and development, and play a vital role in supervising Honours and Higher Degree Research students.Within this position you will conduct high-impact research aligned with the School's strategic focus areas, contribute to the midwifery research agenda, and collaborate across disciplines and with industry to inform evidence-based practice, transform maternity services improving maternal and newborn outcomes.This role will also involve service contributions within the University and engagement with external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships across the health sector and broader community.What we can offerThis is a full time, continuing position, primarily based at the Griffith University Logan campus.

As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.The base salary for a Senior Lecturer (Level C) position is in the range $138,702 - $159,936 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation.

The total package is in the range $162,281 - $187,125 per annum.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated and extensive commitment to higher education and the midwifery profession.

In addition, the successful applicant will possess : Possession of a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a midwife or ability to apply and obtain.A research track record including successful research grants and publications in high quality journals.Additional InformationAs a values-led organisation, at Griffith University, we've worked hard to create a dynamic and strong organisational culture.
