Job descriptionTHE ROLE PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES & TASKS_ Undertake maintenance, repair, service overhaul and testing of required air conditioning and refrigeration products. Service report writing, every job requires a service report and other relevant documentation to be filled out with all necessary details. Take proper care of any service vehicle or other Company vehicle which you us or may be allocated to you from time to time. The vehicle must be kept clean and tidy Report any break downs or unsafe practices immediately to you manager or supervisor Ensure physical security of inventory and company supplied tools and equipment within your care, custody and control Maintenance of a personal tool box containing appropriate trade tools and a clean tidy environment at all times Maintain safe work practices as in accordance with the OH&S Policy & Procedures. Take responsibility for your safety by always adhering to Company Safety Policies and Procedures Comply with Coachair Company Policy and Procedures. Inventory maintenance for Service Van Documentation is presented in a timely manner Work within targeted standard hours Complete service tasks in a timely manner without further rework. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Hold a Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Trade Certificate Hold a restricted electrical licence (desirable) or Electronic Trade certificate Have a working knowledge of diesel engines (desirable) Have Auto electrical experience or knowledge (desirable) Hold Refrigerant / Air-conditioning accreditation (required) Be able to work under limited supervision Be prepared to travel within the state and work overtime on short notice Be able to carry out Oxy Soldering / brazing Be proficient with on a PC / Tablet.

Undertake maintenance, repair, service, overhaul and testing of air conditioning and refrigeration products. Work will be predominantly bus, but may include railcar, locomotives, and other equipment. The service work is either undertaken in the field or in a workshop environment. There will be a requirement to build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their needs are understood and performed.
