Canberra Cyber Hub is a not-for-profit initiative supported by the ACT Government, driving the growth of Canberra’s cyber, quantum and space sectors.
It is the front-door to these sectors by connecting industry, government, education and researchers, attracting and building a strong workforce, support local businesses, and positions Canberra as a national leader in cyber, quantum and space innovation.

The Opportunity
As the Engagement Manager, you will help shape the future of Canberra’s cyber, quantum, and space sectors. You will lead programs that drive industry growth, job creation, and collaboration across government, business, education and research organisations.
This is an opportunity to utilise your relationship focused approach, to further expand the ecosystem, by connecting people, leading initiatives, and delivering impactful initiatives and events. You will help position the Canberra Cyber Hub as the partner of choice in the advanced tech ecosystem.

The Role
Build and maintain strong relationships across the ecosystem to drive engagement in Canberra Cyber Hub programsIdentify and pursue business development opportunities to supporting program growth and retentionPromote the Canberra Cyber Hub as a preferred partner for organisations in the cyber, quantum, and space sectorsLead the delivery of programs and events that support sector growth and collaborationMonitor and evaluate program outcomes to highlight the Hub’s contribution to industry developmentSupport governance activities, including meetings and forums, with clear documentation and follow-up on key actionsThe Ideal Person
You will have demonstrated experience in business development and / or sponsorships with a strong focus on building authentic, long-term relationships.
You will also have :
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levelsAn ability to think outside the box to achieve objectives with a mind to constructively reflect on approachesClear and effective communicator, capable of translating complex ideas for varied audiencesHighly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesProven experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorshipsConfident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems to support engagement and reportingKnowledge of the tech sector and its role in regional growth and job creation is desirableSalary / Rate
89,286 - $102,679 + 12% SuperPermanent full time – 38 hours per weekFlexibility required as out of hours business work and travel will be required to deliver events from time to time.Hybrid working options offeredLocation : CanberraAdditional Benefits include :
