Job descriptionBuild and maintain strong relationships across the ecosystem to drive engagement in Canberra Cyber Hub programs Identify and pursue business development opportunities to supporting program growth and retention Promote the Canberra Cyber Hub as a preferred partner for organisations in the cyber, quantum, and space sectors Lead the delivery of programs and events that support sector growth and collaboration Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to highlight the Hub’s contribution to industry development Support governance activities, including meetings and forums, with clear documentation and follow-up on key actions Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels An ability to think outside the box to achieve objectives with a mind to constructively reflect on approaches Clear and effective communicator, capable of translating complex ideas for varied audiences Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorships Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems to support engagement and reporting Knowledge of the tech sector and its role in regional growth and job creation is desirable 89,286 - $102,679 + 12% Super Permanent full time – 38 hours per week Flexibility required as out of hours business work and travel will be required to deliver events from time to time. Hybrid working options offered Location : Canberra Professional Development allowance of $2k to attend conferences, undertake relevant training / development (pro-rated for part-time employees) 10 working day paid shut down over the Christmas period not taken out of annual leave (this includes the public holidays) Free annual flu shots

Canberra Cyber Hub is a not-for-profit initiative supported by the ACT Government, driving the growth of Canberra’s cyber, quantum and space sectors.
It is the front-door to these sectors by connecting industry, government, education and researchers, attracting and building a strong workforce, support local businesses, and positions Canberra as a national leader in cyber, quantum and space innovation.

As the Engagement Manager, you will help shape the future of Canberra’s cyber, quantum, and space sectors. You will lead programs that drive industry growth, job creation, and collaboration across government, business, education and research organisations.
This is an opportunity to utilise your relationship focused approach, to further expand the ecosystem, by connecting people, leading initiatives, and delivering impactful initiatives and events. You will help position the Canberra Cyber Hub as the partner of choice in the advanced tech ecosystem.
