The responsibilities of a Property Manager are extensive and varied; however, you will primarily be accountable for the overall management of residential and some commercial properties on behalf of and to the satisfaction of the owner and the tenant.

The principal challenge in this position is to increase our property management portfolio and devise innovative strategies to increase net management revenue. The individual will work in a team, demonstrating commitment and loyalty, and perform all duties in accordance with the organisation's routines and procedures, aligning with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities IncludeConduct regular inspections and promptly address maintenance issues.Monitor rent arrears daily and take necessary actions.Manage tenancy renewals within time constraints and increase rents where possible.Issue and follow up on maintenance work orders.Conduct entry and exit inspection reports thoroughly and promptly.Issue breach notices and other notices as required.Manage bond refunds.Liaise with the Leasing Officer regarding new tenancy sign-ups.Assist in listing available properties and provide feedback.Prepare lease agreements, bond forms, and tenant sign-up packs.Prepare and lodge Tribunal claims on behalf of clients and attend hearings as their representative.Ensure accurate filing of all documents, electronically or in hard copy.Record all appointments in an electronic diary.Maintain high standards in service delivery.Stay updated with relevant legislation.Advise clients on activities related to their investment properties and ways to improve rental returns.Follow client instructions within legal provisions and company policies.The Successful Candidate Will HaveLicence or Certificate of Registration.Previous property management experience.Experience with Property Me.Excellent time management and communication skills.Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Motor vehicle and licence.Additional DetailsSeniority level : Entry levelEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Sales and Management
