Retail Manager

• as a Retail Manager. you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store operations in our Whitfield, VIC location. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression.
• What you'll be doing
• Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
• Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
• Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
• Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales
• Manage all day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and implementing sales strategies
• Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Ensure the store meets all operational, health and safety, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with the Head Office team on product selection, marketing, and strategic initiatives
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the store team
• What we're looking for
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Retail Manager or Assistant Manager role, preferably in the
• Retail & Consumer Products
• industry
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret and act on sales data
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting
