Payroll Officer

The Role

This is a newly created position. Working as part of an energetic and friendly team of three reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for payroll through PayGlobal across numerous different contracts and various awards and EBA's. Back up and contingency for Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Officer absence for monthly payroll and other relevant duties. The incumbent will also need to work closely with other staff within the sites to ensure that all duties are performed on a timely and accurate basis.

• Team of Four Full Time staff reporting to the National Payroll Manager
• Payroll of approx. 1850 employees across Australia and New Zealand
• Processing 10 Fortnightly and 2 Monthly pay runs
• Multiple sites across VIC, QLD, NSW, WA, SA and New Zealand
• The payroll team are ultimately responsible for
• Processing multiple end-to-end payroll process in complex environment
• Processing workers compensation and deductions
• Calculations of payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation and annual leave
• Payroll reconciliations
• We are keen to hear from customer service oriented payroll professionals who can demonstrate 2+ years' experience in a similar role ideally working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards. The successful person will also be able to demonstrate;
• Demonstrated knowledge of end to end payroll processes and requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role ideally working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards
• Experience with Kronos is highly regarded, but not essential

Compliance

All applicants must be willing to undertake the G4S Recruitment & Compliance process which includes providing 2 years' worth of employment / background verifications, pre-employment medical assessment and passing a National Police Check.
