Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex spatial data and producing high quality output products Familiarisation with ADAC standard and understanding of ADAC schema and xml production. Demonstrated knowledge of cadastral systems and experience in maintaining a digital cadastral database to a high level of accuracy. Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex spatial data and producing high quality output products. Highly developed analytical thinking and problem solving skills, including the ability to analyse, identify and implement business processes. Demonstrated understanding of As-Constructed process, including survey methodology, asset data collection, ADAC (compliance, schema, XML) and data manipulation. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data management and quality assurance processes. Demonstrated experience in management of geospatial projects. Desirable Experience in the use of Open Spatial Software (Munsys), ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Technology One (ERP) and FME. Knowledge and experience in a Local Government environment. Understanding of civil engineering design, construction operation and maintenance activities, and utilities infrastructure and asset management. - About the role
The position is responsible for the management, capture and maintenance of cadastral, spatial assets and infrastructure data held within Geographic Information System. The role provides specialist advice on data analysis, processes and products utilising Geospatial systems, databases and other resources to support effective decision making and to ensure corporate and external needs for spatial information are met.
This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
