Job DescriptionAs our Injury Management Lead, you will play a pivotal role in promoting safe, timely, and durable return-to-work outcomes for injured workers. You will :
Design, implement, and monitor personalised return-to-work (RTW) plans, ensuring alignment with medical certifications and workplace requirements.Collaborate with injured workers, healthcare providers, insurers, and internal stakeholders to support recovery and return to work.Conduct case conferences, resolve barriers, and develop practical solutions for effective rehabilitation.Provide expert advice to managers on suitable duties, promoting a safe transition back to work.Maintain accurate, confidential claims records and documentation.Educate teams on the benefits of workplace-based rehabilitation, fostering a culture of safety and support.Support continuous improvement in our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing systems.This is afull time, permanent role. The full-time equivalent annual salary ranges from $140K to $150K, inclusive of superannuation, and is dependent on qualifications and experience.Click here to view the full position profile.
QualificationsAbout You We are looking for someone with :
Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in injury management, workers' compensation, or rehabilitation within a large or complex organisation, with working knowledge of the Loss Prevention and Recovery model in NSW.In-depth knowledge of State based Workers' Compensation legislation.Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions.Demonstrated ability to manage complex workers' compensation claims and facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.High level of empathy, discretion, and confidentiality.Don't meet every single requirement?
