About the role
Are you enthusiastic about working with children and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for their growth? Join our friendly and professional team at Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) as a casual Educator! We are seeking individuals with diverse life experiences in sports, art, music, drama, craft, coaching, or teaching to enrich the children's learning experiences.
We have multiple casual positions available, offering up to 75 hours per fortnight in our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. You'll have various opportunities to engage with children, including before and after school care, holiday (vacation care), and abundant room for career advancement within CRCS.
As a valued member of our OSHC team, you'll find each day to be fun-filled, dynamic, and occasionally challenging. Your role as an Educator at CRCS will involve providing high-quality practices to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. You'll interact with and supervise children effectively while collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional education and care, prioritizing each child's unique strengths, needs, and interests, and fostering a culture of safety.
A typical day will have you working closely with the team to establish a nurturing and stimulating environment for attending children. This includes organizing various activities and programs, setting up indoor and outdoor equipment, handling cleaning and food preparation, and providing attentive supervision to ensure the children's well-being.
At CRCS, we highly value your input and encourage creativity within our center. Whether you have experience in OSHC, teaching, coaching, or are currently studying in related fields, we wholeheartedly welcome you. We foster a supportive environment that helps you achieve and grow your skills, with comprehensive learning and development programs to support your career advancement. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of local children. Embrace this opportunity to showcase your special skills, be it in sports, art, craft, writing, or drama, and gain future qualifications as you become part of our professional and friendly team. Experience a workplace that truly values your growth and success.
