Communities at Work is Canberra's largest Early Education and Care provider, operating numerous Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services across Canberra. These services provide before and after school care, and school holiday programs. Our services focus on children. We place each child at the centre of our practice and deliver high-quality programs to foster children's emotional well-being, social skills, communication and confidence.
About the roleThe OSHC Admin Support Officer is responsive to the requirements of OSHC Management and OSHC systems, particularly pertaining to rostering for all Out of School Hours Care and School Holiday services. Additionally the OSHC Admin Support Officer is responsible for general admin duties and systems, which assist with the functions of Out of School Hours Care.
Your duties will include but are not limited to :
Responsible for daily rostering at all OSHC / SHP sites, ensuring all services are meeting the regulatory requirements of correct ratios to maintain compliance.Adjust rosters according to daily enrolments at each serviceBe available to answer OSHC Rostering mobile every day, and follow up with educator's unavailabilityEnsure rosters are projected for the week ahead, and rolled out to all educators using systems developed and utilised by OSHCManage educator's timesheets within EasyemployerMeet new educators and provide them with CAW uniform / lanyards and an induction to processes, as well as collection of uniform and exit forms upon educator's resignationSupport Management with keeping budgets on track by maintaining trackers, provide approved purchase orders and reconcile EVCWork collaboratively with Payroll to maintain WWVP cards, staff records, probation reports and contractsSelection CriteriaMaintain current 'Working with Vulnerable People' registrationExperience and sound knowledge of Children's Services, in particular Out of School Hours CareExperience and familiar with the National Law and RegulationsDemonstrated ability to provide positive leadership and contribute towards the development of a productive team culture in a diverse work environment.Ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure the efficient delivery of outcomesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCurrent driver's licenceFamiliar and willingness to learn the Communities at Work systems, in particular EasyEmployer, Kidsoft, NAV, Google Drives, Internal Audit SystemBenefitsMake a difference and change lives in the Canberra community as part of Canberra's largest community organisationJoin an inclusive and friendly workplace, where people are at the heart of everything.Increase your take-home pay!
