- Main Responsibilities
- Provide support with field-based helicopter management process and assist in the assessment, and communication of designated Helicopter Landing Sites (HLS)
- Advise personnel on safe working practices with daily activities and be available to monitor critical operations.
- Active involvement with the planning and development of topical safety moments or presentations at for e.g. pre-tour meetings or weekly safety meeting.
- Coordinate HSE initiatives and support principal contractors in their HSE initiatives.
- Evaluate effectiveness of safe systems of work and provide detailed communication and reports to the Onshore Senior HSE Advisor
- Regular participation in operational JHAs and evaluation of process effectiveness. Contribute to the development or review of hazard management process as required.
- Conduct HSE Assurance in accordance with the D&C Assurance schedule. Record and track to closure any identified areas for improvement.
- Verify Onshore D&C risk management controls are in place and adequate through active participation in the Line-of-Sight Risk Evaluation Process
- Promote and participate in regular task verification checks, area Inspections, permit audits, hazard hunts etc. preferably in conjunction with Principal Contractor and third-party personnel.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Wellsite Offshore Permit to Work System and associated risk assessment mitigation strategies.
- Essential Skills / Qualifications
- Demonstrated Offshore shore Safety drilling experience. (10+ yrs.)
- Demonstrated Safety leadership skills and the ability to manage change processes.
- Demonstrated skills in implementation and ongoing management of HSE systems as they relate to drilling and completions.
- Experience in leading incident investigation and safety audits.
- A sound knowledge of risk management processes and risk-based decision making.
- Ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to source information and provide competent advice.
Pay : From $200,000.00 per year
