We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual for the position of Coatings Inspector and Trainer. As the Coatings Inspector and Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support on coating projects, conducting external inspections and audits, and training internal and external coating applicators, whilst utilising exceptional products and facilities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and supervisory support for both onshore and offshore projects.
- Conduct external inspections and audits.
- Support sales teams and technical authority in business growth.
- Undertake Verification of Competencies (VOCs).
- Review client and student feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure trainee safety during training activities.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to the Technical Authority.
- Ensure availability of materials, consumables, and labour for training activities, trials, and demonstrations.
- Comply with company Health, Safety & Environment standard obligations and relevant policies and procedures.
- Promote waste minimisation and environmental consciousness.
- Facilitate innovation and foster client engagement to drive the development of new products and services.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local council criminal and industrial laws, public liability including product public liability, corporate policies and guidelines, security including data security, and health and safety rules within your area of responsibility.
- Key Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 certification in NACE CIP.
- Previous experience in reporting on quality assurance and quality control for protective coatings.
- Sound MS Suite proficiency and computer literacy.
