Senior Solution Architect - Enterprise

The Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Senior Account Solution Architect to join us in our Canberra office. In this role you will be assigned Tier 1 enterprise accounts for Red Hat in the Public Sector Industry Vertical. Working together with an Enterprise sales account executive and Red Hat partners youll build longlasting relationships and expand our business in these accounts. In this role you will create possibilities solve problems and establish trusted relationships with our customers. You will help our customers adopt solutions across the Red Hat portfolio giving them a competitive advantage. You will apply your technical expertise passion for open source thorough understanding of business processes and ability to identify and create business solutions across multiple technology platforms at the enterprise level. Youll need excellent communication and people skills as a technical point of contact between Red Hat customers and our partners on assigned accounts.

What you will do :

Work in partnership with the sales team providing recommendations for the development and implementation of complex offerings and solutions to help the team achieve sales targets

Sustaining good relationships with partners and existing / prospective customers

Build design and present complex solutions to customers

Lead the technical validation process with customers including product and solution presentations and demonstrations technical deep dive sessions and workshops and proof of value activities

Collaborate with Product Management teams and the Product Engineering Professional Services and Sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience with our products

Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for the customers gain the confidence of IT professionals and build longlasting relationships within our key accounts.

What you will bring :

8 years of experience working as a sales engineer consultant or solutions architect or in a relevant role

Knowledge of and preferably experience with any of the Red Hat platforms like Red Hat OpenShift Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or other Red Hat technologies

Diverse architectural and handson experience across both onpremise and cloud platforms and workloads

Experience in areas as diverse as virtualization and cloud management to middleware microservices and serverless architectures and IT automation.

Knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies

Ability to present and have technical and business discussions with Clevel executives
