As an Assistant Director - Data Strategy and Governance at the Department of Education, you will support the Director to lead data governance and strategic data sharing activities for the Early Childhood Data and Preschool Branch.

The Early Childhood Data and Preschool Branch has stewardship of rich and informative early childhood education and care (ECEC) data sources including Child Care Subsidy data (held in the Services Australia Enterprise Data Warehouse), the Australian Early Development Census and the ECEC National Workforce Census. We also regularly survey the ECEC community, including services, workers, and parents / guardians of children accessing care.

This role is the right fit for you if you want to spearhead how the Branch shares data responsibly and securely and if you are driven by innovation and a desire to build upon current practices.
