We're driven by innovation, sustainability, and empowering our people to make a real impact - and we're looking for a passionate and experienced HSE professional to lead that mission in South Australia.The OpportunityWe're on the lookout for a skilled and proactive HSE Manager to support multiple Visy sites across Adelaide and the broader SA / NT region.

Reporting to the National HSE Operations Manager - Southern Region, this key role will drive continuous improvement, coach and support operational leaders, and help embed our Visy HSE culture through programs such as Stop and Think, Safe Production, Safe Transport, and Safe Construction.You'll be the central point of contact for all HSE activity across a multi-site environment, working closely with key stakeholders to improve systems, influence behaviour, and strengthen risk management and compliance practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the implementation and maintenance of Visy's HSE initiatives, systems and policies across the region.Partner with managers and frontline teams to coach and embed safe behaviours and proactive HSE leadership.Support risk assessments and ensure practical controls are developed, monitored, and reviewed.Facilitate incident investigations, identify root causes and support closeout of corrective actions.Provide training, support and subject matter expertise on legislative requirements and best practices.Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying trends and leading improvement initiatives.Build strong internal relationships across operations, HR, and leadership teams to influence HSE outcomes.What You'll Bring to the TeamTertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related field.Experience in an HSE role within manufacturing, logistics, or heavy industry environments.A proactive, practical approach with strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence at all levels of the organisation.Solid understanding of HSE legislation and systems.Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.What We OfferA leadership role with real impact across a high-profile state portfolio.A supportive and collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and safe outcomes.Opportunities for career growth within a large, vertically integrated business.A business built on sustainable practices, with a long-term commitment to safety and the environment.At Visy, you won't just be part of a business – you'll be part of a movement that is shaping the future of sustainable manufacturing and logistics.When you join us, you'll be required to meet Visy's employment criteria, including a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.Visy is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.Advertised : 21 May 2025 Cen.
