About the role

Are you a creative, customer-focused professional ready to lead learning and development in a values-driven organisation? Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is seeking a dedicated Learning & Development Specialist to join our People and Culture (P&C) team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at our corporate services office in Eight Mile Plains, you will report directly to the Head of People and Culture and play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation’s learning and development strategies. This position is integral to ensuring that RAQ adopts a customer-focused, contemporary approach to learning, working closely with People and Culture Business Partners and Senior Leaders across the business. As a key contributor to leadership development and core capability training, you will manage and deliver strategic projects, aligning your efforts with organisational priorities to effectively resource areas of need and foster ongoing growth and wellbeing across RAQ.

Additionally, you will :

Lead and develop multi-modal learning solutionsâdesigning, revising, and delivering e-learning, virtual, and face-to-face training aligned with organisational goals and leadership development.

Integrate leadership development into instructional design and learning resources, fostering growth, capability, and alignment with RAQ’s strategic goals.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and staffâidentifying training needs and creating effective learning resources for both clinical and non-clinical employees.

Advise on best-practice learning methodsâincorporating adult and experiential learning principles to ensure impactful and engaging training experiences.

Coordinate and deliver training programsâoverseeing end-to-end training logistics for webinars, e-learning, and face-to-face sessions.

Manage the Learning Management System (LMS)âtracking, reporting, and administering training, while supporting staff in using the system effectively.

Report and analyse learning outcomesâsupporting audits, maintaining records, and providing data-driven recommendations to continuously improve learning at RAQ.

About you

We’re looking for a creative and collaborative professional who is passionate about designing and delivering impactful learning experiences. You have a proven track record in instructional design across multiple modalities and enjoy working with diverse teams to drive capability and leadership development. With strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, you thrive in a values-driven environment and are committed to supporting others to grow and succeed. Additionally, you have :

Undergraduate qualifications in Business, Psychology, Education, Workplace Training & Assessment or related field.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage learning and development initiatives from conception to completion.

Experience with e-learning authoring tools and the ability to design, deliver, and evaluate engaging, multi-modal learning solutions.

Proven ability to collect, analyse, and report on data to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes and organisational capability.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and provide high-quality written reports and briefs.

A collaborative approach to working with diverse teams, supporting a culture of excellence and shared success in organisational development1.

A commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, with a focus on delivering impactful, contemporary learning experiences.
