• Are you great with numbers and have sharp analytic skills? Are you detail-oriented, precise in your working style and motivated to understand interdependencies and to question them? Do you have a fund accounting / operation background in the finance sector?
• To strengthen our team we are looking for new colleagues who will support us building out our presence working in the following main areas :
• Communicate with the business, custodians and prime brokers to resolve trading, operational and accounting issues.
• Establish and maintain a great working relationship with custodians, portfolio managers, auditors, and other key business stakeholders, at times with clients.
• Manage conflicting deadlines, prioritize deliverables and resolve audit, trading queries effectively with the custodian and key day to day contacts.
• Prepare, monitor and timely submission of the quarterly compliance checklists.
• Attend to account payables and other ad hoc requests relating to UBS Schemes.
• Review and investigate breaks of any reconciliation exposed to futures, forwards, options, swaps, fixed income, equities, and income and expense accruals queries from the Recon team.
• Portfolio activity, portfolio analysis, preparing client valuations and client specific reporting.
• Ensure efficient workflow for the Portfolio managers and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support Client Relationship team with reporting requirements for Funds and Institutional Mandates
• Unit pricing and performance checking for Portfolio Managers sign off
• Provide support on fund accounting related matters

• You'll be working in the Operations, Accounting and Control Group under the Fund Accounting team in Sydney. You will be assisting and supporting the Operations functions for daily, monthly, quarterly and annual key deliverables and reporting. This role acts as conduit for the global hubs i.e. London, Singapore, Poland and managing the custodians / administrators and servicing the Front Office and other business areas so you need to be confident with your communication and establish and maintain a great working relationship with custodians / administrators, portfolio managers, auditors, and other key business stakeholders. As a Operations Specialist, you'll play an important role in ensuring the accurate valuation and daily pricing of our funds, cash. trade & portfolio reconciliation and resolving issues.

• Good understanding of the Fund industry (including custodian) or asset management industry.
• Good eye for detail and ability to work under pressure during critical deliverable time
• Good time management and can manage conflicting deadlines
• Team player and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Problem solver and can work autonomously
• Good understanding of the Fund industry
• Strong communication skills with either upstream or downstream counterparties
• Advance excel skills
• High attention to detail
