Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Subcontractor or Casual)

We support kids in the places that matter most : homes, classrooms, kindies, playgrounds, and communities. Our work is grounded, flexible, and designed to meet children where they are.

We're looking for a heart-first OT who sees the spark in every child, to join our growing team in a subcontractor or casual role. This is a fully mobile role with genuine flexibility, loads of support, and space to grow at your own pace.

A little about the role :

You'll support children and families in their everyday spaces. You'll use play, movement, co-regulation, and sensory-informed strategies to support connection and participation Caseloads start small and grow gradually — you're in control of your pace and load Flexible diary, workdays and hours based on your availability Regular 1 : 1 supervision, plus resource sharing and admin support Our incredible Community Program Facilitators (AHAs) help implement therapy plans and extend your reach

Who we're looking for :

We're not just looking for the most experience. We're looking for the right person. Someone who leads with heart, curiosity, and care. Someone who listens deeply, sees the strengths in every child, and is open to learning far beyond the textbooks.

You're an OT who values connection, compassion, and reflection You're curious about sensory integration, affirming practice, and working creatively in natural environments You're willing to learn, unlearn, and grow in community with others AHPRA registration and insurance are essential You'll need an ABN if applying as a subcontractor Paediatric experience is welcome, but not required — we'll support the right fit with mentoring and supervision Driver's licence and your own transport (travel expenses reimbursed) A laptop and access to a reliable internet connection
