ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

AKT Engineering is looking for a motivated Apprentice Boilermaker / Welder to take the first step in a rewarding career. This handson role offers the opportunity to work with experienced professionals develop essential trade skills and contribute to highquality engineering projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Gain practical handson experience in metal fabrication welding and assembly.
• Assist experienced boilermakers and welders in manufacturing and assembling key engineering components.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precision and quality.
• Participate in quality control processes inspecting and evaluating welds and materials.
• Adhere to safety procedures and engage in ongoing safety training to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support the upkeep and maintenance of welding equipment and machinery.
• Assist with material handling and inventory management in the workshop.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
