- About the Role
As the National Visual Merchandising Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing DecoRug sales through innovative store presentation and ensuring an inspiring customer journey. Reporting directly to the GM Retail, you will develop and implement a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across all our retail locations. The key responsibilities of the role include :
Visual Merchandising Strategy and Execution :
Develop and implement a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy aligned with our brand image and business objectives.Conceptualize, design, and manage the implementation of visual treatments, including planograms, product displays, and creative installations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in visual messaging across all retail locations.Develop and implement seasonal and promotional displays to drive sales.Leadership :
Communicate regularly with Area Leaders and Store Managers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to maximize store sales.Establish and communicate visual merchandising standards to maintain a consistent brand image.Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with guidelines.Store Layout and Design :
Oversee the creation of store layouts for optimal product placement and a seamless customer shopping experience.Play a key role in the store design process, collaborating on store architecture, store-front, fixture design, and future integration of digital technology.Budget Management :
Manage the visual merchandising budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective execution of initiatives.About the YouStrong track record in visual merchandising roles, ideally within furniture, homeware sectors and in roles where you have involved in group or category VM strategy and execution.Creative flair and imagination.Understanding of bulk goods retailing.Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behaviour.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field.Computer skills in Word, Excel, Illustrator, CAD, and InDesign.Ability to travel nationally as required.About DecoRugHaving celebrated our 30th birthday last year, we are an Australian household retailer and operate a significant retail network throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia that we are looking to grow over the next several years.
