We celebrate excellence in food and drink, bringing the best of the world to Victoria and the best of Victorian food and drink to the world.Position purposeF+DV has over 30 partnerships which encompass commercial, government and industry partners, covering cash and in-kind support.

The primary purpose of this role is to : Acquire new partnerships including commercial, government and industry partners, covering cash and in-kind support across all F+DV events and initiatives.Renew and increase investment from existing partners across a nominated portfolio.Achieve agreed revenue targets for sponsorship, and leverage opportunities to drive budget relief through discounted or in-kind products or services.Manage the day-to-day relationship of nominated partnership accounts, delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the contractual obligations are met.Communicate to the wider team the partnership imperatives and deliverables and work with internal teams to deliver to deadlines.Be a point of contact for partner queries and requests, delivering service excellence.Identify revenue opportunities for new partners and support in the procurement and negotiation of the contracts.Identify opportunities to upsell additional revenue opportunities with existing partners.Manage expenses for each assigned account.Support F+DV teams in driving strategic outcomes for the organisation.Key responsibilitiesPartner relationsDeliver exceptional account management.Ability to generate and deliver activation plans and engagement strategies for each allocated partner.Build and maintain strong working client relationships and deliver best practice account management.Responsible for providing timely and accurate delivery of all contractual partnership benefits for designated partners.Liaison with Events, Programming and Marketing teams to ensure all sponsor benefits are delivered including, but not limited to printed collateral, signage, e-news, product deliveries and website.Prepare and maintain detailed records of all meetings with partner, including WIP documents.Manage onsite partner requirements at selected F+DV events.RevenueLead the acquisition of new commercial partners, in line with the overall sponsorship strategy.Manage the renewal of existing partner and stakeholder agreements, leveraging opportunities to build investment and upsell opportunities to meet and exceed agreed targets.Demonstrate initiative to identify new partner opportunities, undertaking research, sourcing direct contacts and leveraging existing networks to generate leads and opportunities to secure revenue.Work collaboratively with the broader F+DV team to identify and exploit opportunities to drive commercial growth and new revenue streams for the organisation.Lead the ideation and execution of activation plans for and with partners to leverage their investment with the organisations, while adding value to the consumer.AdministrationCalendar management / administrative support.Manage all partnership ticketing requirements.Prepare partner debrief reports with input from marketing and programming teams.Invoice creation and processing.Correspondence preparation such as contracts amendments and partner WIPs.Assist Partnerships Director where required.Assist the CEO with partnership requests as required.Key selection criteriaSkills and experienceDemonstrated success in sales and partnership account management with ideally a minimum 5 years' account management experience.Ability to build rapport quickly, influence and autonomously liaise with a broad range of people.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as required while not compromising attention to detail.Demonstrated capacity to work as an effective team member - proactive, anticipate needs, flexible and reliable.Highly motivated and driven towards achieving and exceeding targets, delivering exceptional client service and results.High energy levels with the appetite to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Highly organised, demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Proven experience representing an organisation to the highest standard.Ability to think analytically and creatively to generate ideas.Strong administrative support skills including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point) and CRM systems (Salesforce).Strong customer focus – to go above and beyond.Self-starter, shows initiative and drive to deliver the best for partners.Timely service delivery of contractual deliverables to all partners in line with client and department expectations and standards.An ability to welcome change, meet a challenge, take up new ideas and identify emerging trends.An ability to work with other stakeholders and to consider and embrace other people's perspectives, to be consultative and collaborative.A planned and organised approach.An ability to prioritise tasks, focus on urgent issues and maintain momentum on others.An ability to motivate, empower and enthuse.A capacity to work within a dynamic environment.A willingness to assist with tasks across different functions as required ensuring the organisation's objectives are met.Other relevant informationFood + Drink Victoria is an equal opportunity employer.
