- Essential Requirements
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum three years experience in a Agricultural Technician position or relevant equivalent degree
- Forklift ticket
- First Aid Certificate
- Cert III in production horticulture or equivalent
- Responsibilities include
- Assisting in developing new methods of planting, fertilising, harvesting and processing crops to achieve optimum land usage
- Monitoring environmental factors that influence the plants and respond accordingly to protect the crops
- Analyse produce to set and maintain standards of quality
- Communicate with directors each season to determine a planting plan
- Identify and react to insects, weeds and other parasites which affect the plants health
- Monitor different crop plans to improve crop yield and continually improve the business

This role is a hands-on farming position with year-round work and requires you to work outside in rain or shine. As our berries come seasonally through the winter months this position requires flexibility in working hours to meet peak work demands. - 70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
