Join City of Moreton Bay as a GIS and Asset Data Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a GIS and Asset Data Officer you'll be
- capturing asset and spatial data
- working with "As Constructed" plans and Asset Design and As Constructed (
- ADAC) and GIS files
- providing maintenance and improvement input into asset data capture processes, and preparing basic asset reports. You'll also :
- Provide team support in managing consultants engaged in data capture projects
- Accurately maintain the quality and integrity of asset and spatial data and provide basic spatial analysis
- Undertake field validation of asset data and basic condition assessments to update Council's asset register.
- About you
We're looking for your experience managing large and complex data sets relating to asset and GIS data using asset management systems, practices and processes, and using your great attention to detail and spatial accuracy. You'll also bring :
- Knowledge / experience with
- ESRI ArcGIS
- including ability to capture and manipulate spatial data
- Ability to
- interpret engineering drawings
- and cross validate with spatial data
- Experience with
- basic survey equipment
- e.g. Trimble handheld devices.
