Child Care Centre Director

We are a well-established and values-driven family run early childhood education provider with a strong reputation for delivering quality care and learning. As we expand our presence in the area, between Pacific Palms and Forster, we are welcoming a new centre into our network, and are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead this next chapter.

About the Role :

This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership position at an already-operating medium sized centre, supported by the systems, resources, and mentorship of an established organisation.

We're looking for someone who : Is an experienced and confident Centre Director or Assistant Director ready to step up

Has a deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and NQF

Leads with empathy, professionalism, and a strong team culture

Is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for children and families

Qualifications Required

• Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
• Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership position in an Early Childhood Service
• Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff.
• Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
• Demonstrated knowledge of service's requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and / or My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services
• National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)
