Your part in the Blue Care Team Our dynamic retirement living team at Argyle Gardens Retirement Village in Bundaberg is looking for a committed and passionate Chef to join their dedicated and close-knit team on a permanent part-time basis.
Blue Care operates over 35 retirement villages across Queensland, with more than 3,300 residents choosing to make a Blue Care community their home.
Reporting to the Village Manager, this is a great opportunity for a Chef or highly experienced Cook aiming to restore their work-life balance and gain employment in one of Australia's fastest-growing industries with the following responsibilities :
Prepare, cook, and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements, with a strong focus on food safety standards.Support senior hospitality staff with menu design and implementation.Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.We encourage our team to be creative and enjoy themselves while contributing to our success. You will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage, and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation, and demonstrate the following :
