Our Partner, a challenger bank / scaleup, is changing the game and looking to hire a Product Owner to play a key part in their payments strategy. They are growing extensively across their tech team, and this is a key hire for them.

The role of Product OwnerWork with Finance, Operations and Technology teams to build out an end-to-end vision for our payments capabilityPartner with design and architecture teams to drive the multi-year roadmap for payments.Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring they keep their needs in mind at all times and balancing the need to move quickly with ensuring a quality customer experience.Emphasise the experience vision and sprint goal (why we are doing what we are doing) to the team so that they can connect to customer problems and pain pointsPrioritising the backlog among competing opportunities balancing customer needs with business priorities, and articulating the rationale behind decisions.Collaborating across the organisation to fully understand opportunities and constraints and to share key information. Critically assessing requests from key stakeholders to ensure alignment, value and risk reduction.Skills / Experience you will bringYou have worked in and around payments, wholesale banking or operations to create great customer and business outcomes2 years working on payments products as either a product owner, business analyst, solution designer, or equivalentYou have a demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.You have a demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks.Competent working in an Omni channel environment where in-person, physical and digital experiences need to blend in a meaningful way.If you want to be part of a scaleup that has seen incredible year-on-year growth, they are looking to double their team, and you will play a key part in their strategy.
