Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you will lead a professional team across Strategic Planning and Reporting, Governance, Risk and Audit functions. The effective development and implementation of initiatives that drive continuous improvement across these functions is a key priority, underpinned by strong support, guidance and governance services to the whole organisation and Elected Members. You will :
As a strategic enabler, you will shape and facilitate change management processes, developing organisational systems that are nimble and fit for purpose. Your collaborative team leadership is critical, fostering internal customer service and continuous improvement to deliver optimal structures and frameworks.
Tertiary qualified, you have demonstrated financial, governance and project management achievements with executive leadership credentials in multi-disciplinary environments. Importantly, your strategic capability is supported by a highly collaborative stakeholder approach and solutions mindset, together with well-developed team management skills. Knowledge of, or exposure to Local Government is advantageous, but not essential. However, as a member of the City's Executive Management team, your values and integrity will embody public service professionalism and integrity.
