A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced & confident open cut Pit Technician. This role is within a very well-known and respected client, who has a strong focus on safety and encourages career growth.
Within a leading client in open cut and underground mining industry, this role will be on an even time 7 : 7 roster, with FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie options available.
You will be reporting to the Senior Geologist and assisting the Geology team with day-to-day tasks including radar monitoring in an open-pit mine, sampling, ore spotting and equipment setup. You will be working closely within the geology team to Ensure ore blocks mined are supervised and clear instructions provided to operators. Conduct data entry of sample data and complete lab submissions ensuring consignment notes are timely and accurate.
