About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers with an AGSVA security clearance. This role involves performing all general security guard duties ensuring the safety and security of personnel property and information on Federal Government and Defence sites. Key responsibilities include :

  • Conducting regular patrols and inspections to ensure the security of the premises.
  • Monitoring and controlling access to the facility.
  • Responding to alarms and incidents providing assistance as required.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of security activities.
  • Enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
  • Performing risk assessments and reporting any security breaches or hazards.
  • Collaborating with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies as necessary.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will :

  • Hold a current AGSVA security clearance.
  • Demonstrate experience in security operations and procedures.
  • Possess strong observational and communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Show a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Have the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
