About the Role
As an APS 6 Finance Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Assistant Director, contributing to project and program-level forecasting, procurement, and administrative support for our project timesheet system. You will handle a high volume of accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete project management plans, logbooks, and closure reports
- Collaborate regularly with project managers and Directors to ensure the accuracy of program-level reports for the Chief Information Officer
- Coordinate procurement and assist with the recruitment and onboarding of staff and contractors
- Independently maintain and manage SAGE Timesheet Professional, providing training to divisional staff and new starters
- Verify and process a high volume of ICT invoices, attributing costs to the appropriate workstreams in line with business rules and requirements
- Support the Program Delivery Office with monthly board reporting
- Perform end-of-month procedures to ensure project reports are complete and accurate
About You
You are a detail-oriented team player with strong communication and organisational skills. Your technical knowledge and experience in SAGE Timesheet Professional, government procurement, and proficiency in TM1 will be essential.
