- The role and what we are looking for
Reporting to the Head of Supply, the Supply Key Accounts Manager will have responsibility for some of Capricorn's major Supplier accounts which includes developing an accountable action plan utilizing both internal and external key stakeholders. Key responsibilities of the role include :
- Conduct a full analysis of the Key Accounts within your responsibility and develop an action plan for future growth.
- Grow sales revenue and share of wallet with designated Key Accounts.
- Build a network of contacts within your major suppliers.
- Work closely with existing networks, groups, and key contacts to collect critical intelligence to assist in developing further sales and membership opportunities.
- Manage relationships with Capricorns Aftermarket Brand Partners to ensure the ultimate success of mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Act as a single point of contact for the designated key accounts on any escalated matters and sales initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with marketing for campaigns and other requirements that are required for target specific key accounts and groups.
- Collect data and develop and implement action plans that increases penetration of Capricorns power of knowledge and member benefits products.
- Proven sales and relationship management background or high-level customer service experience is essential.
- Successful experience working in a similar role, preferably for a Cooperative or other member based organisation.
- Sound understanding of the automotive and commercial parts and service industry.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite of products including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint will be required.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working well under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Current valid driver's license issued by the relevant State regulatory authority (essential).
