Child And Family Practitioner

Limelight People are keen to speak to Qualified Social Workers with experience in child and family services looking to make a difference and work in the community. We are currently supporting a growing Not for Profit looking to expand their established multi-disciplinary team.

• Responsibilities will include
• Work with a wide range of designated clients.
• Engage clients including children, young people, adults and / or families, using appropriate assessment and risk minimisation processes
• Coordinate with other services providers including government department and agencies, schools, health services, GP's and allied health providers
• Assess and support children / young people's ongoing needs and undertake comprehensive assessments
• To be successful
• Degree qualified in social work, early childhood, psychology or similar
• At least 12 months case management experience working with at risk children, young people and / or families in a child protection focused role, including experience undertaking comprehensive assessments
• Out of home care experience is highly desirable
• Eligibility or registration with AASW
